tempting to ignore the blitz and throw a jig down deep and just out past the blitz. good chance a pod of stripers is out there just biding their time and fattening up on the blue’s scraps!!
Great video….I saw this twice and both times was on the beach at Plum Island. It’s a sight to see and be a part of. the water turns a bright red and moves up the shore as the fish move . The bunker do all they can to srvive and come clean out of the water beaching themselves until the next wave. Many have the rotors cut clean off and the blood flows free. The blues are now sideways in the water pushing the 10 inch bunker to the beach. It’s true mayhem
It reminds me of growing out on Wallaston beach in N.Quincy…..what fun throwing a spoon at the “Green devils” as gramps used to call them!
Saw this on a smaller scale at mill pond in Chatham MA. That was the only school in the pond though. Cape Cod is awesome.
