Seaway Boats was founded by Harry Farmer back in the 1970’s. They built up quite a dealer network and their downeast-style boats were distributed along the entire East coast. Seaway and Harry took a hiatus thru most of the 90’s and reappeared in 2001 working out of a new facility in Oxford, ME.
Seaway Boats represents a Downeast tradition that dates back over 30 years. Seaway has always focused on hulls that perform well with low horsepower fuel-efficient engines. Over the years, the boats have evolved to all-composite construction using the latest technologies and materials available today. Seaway offers Downeast sizes 18, 21 and 24 feet in length. The Seaway Sportsman is their line of traditional center console boats.
