Power Through a Pile of Fish with a Cordless Fillet Knife
Want to make short work of a tall stack of trout, crappies, scup or sea bass? Bubba (the brand formerly known as “Bubba Blade”) has introduced an electric fillet knife that has more in common with your power drill than your kitchen cutlery. According to Bubba, the Bubba Lithium Ion Cordless Electric Fillet Knife ($159.95) has the longest run time of any electric fillet knife on the market and a ventilation system designed to maximize motor transmission output and supply an incredible amount of torque. Plus, it incorporates Bubba’s iconic red non-slip grip handle.
The knife package includes four different blade styles — 7” E-FLEX, 9” E-FLEX, 9” E-STIFF and 12” E-STIFF — that mirror Bubba’s well known tapered flex and stiff fillet knives. The blades are constructed out of high carbon stainless-steel and coated with titanium nitride making them extremely corrosion resistant.
The electric fillet knife comes in an EVA molded carrying case that allows you to break apart the storage units for easy cleaning. It includes a secondary replacement battery and a charging cord, and all batteries contain a battery life indicator so you won’t unexpectedly run out of juice.
