The Freeport Hudson Anglers has announced that Spare Parts captained by Chris Wolfson beat out 133 other boats to win the 44th Annual Freeport Hudson Anglers Shark Tournament with a 280-pound Thresher shark.
Nick Wolfson was the angler who reeled in the big money fish worth $47,386.
Taking second place was Brianna captained by Anthony Coyle with a 274-pound Thresher. Nick Coyle faught the Thresher and the Brianna took home $57,494 in prize money.
Rounding out the top three was the Mako Wish II captained by Kevin Quinyon with a 261.4-pound Mako. Mako Wish II earned $15,904 in prize money.
The Freeport Hudson Anglers was also pleased to award a tagging prize this year. All prizes totaled just under $250,000 in cash and prizes.
