First Look: Shimano Stradic FK Spinning Reel

画像 206

The beloved Stradic Reel line from Shimano has been redesigned to incorporate the new Hagane Reel Design concept to make this popular inshore and freshwater spinning reel more durable and powerful than ever.

Shimano’s Hagane design concept creates a fishing reel that will exceed the demands of hardcore fishing use and hardcore anglers. Hagane is a culmination of built-in toughness and durability.

The strength and durability of the cold-forged drive gear keeps the reel smoother for longer. The teeth of the gear are not cut, but are forged, providing better durability and smoothness.

The metal body provides rigidity, eliminating flexing in the reel body,  transferring the angler’s actions directly into cranking power.

The X-Ship Gear provides durability, and maintains precise alignment with the drive gear, allowing the reel to perform under even the heaviest loads.

The Stradic FK Series will be offered in five models, ST-1000HG, ST-25000HG, ST-C3000HG, ST-4000XG and ST-C5000XG, and the suggested retail is $199.99 to $229.99, depending on size.

I love the way these reel look, same thing w/ the new Penn.
It is a shame both are way out of my price range.

I would go w/ Cabela’s Salt Striker Spinning Reels if you are looking at something a little more reasonable.
