“This video was shot in Montauk, New York during the fall of 2012. It is my attempt to capture the Fall fishing experience, which offers some of the most exciting top water action in the world. Every year around September, Montauk offers a variety of exciting fishing experiences, with striped bass, false albacore and bluefish blitzing or gathering in enormous schools to feed on bait. For the fly rodder, casting to breaking fish — albies in particular — is probably the highlight of the year. The Montauk 2013 season is lighting up, so make the trip to enjoy some of this short lived action before it’s over and say hello if you see me on the water.” – Sergio Diaz

Was in that same spot this past thursday. We stopped on a run back from fishing bluefin offshore. It was JUST like that. Fish blitzing everywhere. Nice mix of bass…blues….and albies. Was great on the fly.
