I’m pretty sure my actions at Falmouth Bait and Tackle yesterday were a mortal sin against the fly fishing gods.

After a little more searching following my rod-buzzing lightning encounter last week, I found some pictures of fishing rods that had been struck by lightning.

I’ve never been too rattled by lightning, in fact, on occasion, I welcome it for its ability to clear out otherwise crowded fishing areas.
