SEA BASS FISHING AROUND SHELTER ISLAND IS NOT PRODUCTIVE AS THERE SIZE DOES MEET THE MINIMUN SIZE. EVEN PIGGS RIP IN THE SOUND DID NOT PRODUCE FISH THAT WERE LEGAL. HOWEVER CATCHING THE DEEP WATER FISH LIKELY KILLS THEM AS DECOMPRESSION IS THE ISSUE. STOP ALL SEA BASS FISHING FOR FIVE YEARS MAY BE THE ANSWER. ALSO STOP DRAGS AND GILL NET FIHING ALL TOGETHER AND THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOT SELL LISENCES TO FOREIGN COUNTIES TO FISH OUR SHORES AND ARREST AND SINK THE BOATS FROM FOREIGN COUNTRIES THAT FISH OUR WATERS. SOMETHING MUST BE DONE.
