As the surf becomes barren, and boats are stored away for the winter, party/charter boats remain one of the only viable options for saltwater fishing.
"Endless" striper action, bluefish are still in the mix, 180-pound bluefin, solid tog fishing, jumbo black sea bass to 6-pounds, and cod to 8-pounds.

20-to-40 pound bass are still around, tog fishing is stellar, and tuna in the surf.
Bigger stripers are sporadically coming into the surf and schoolie bass are all over the south shore.
An 80 pound bluefin tuna beached itself in front of an angler, and a giant bluefin tuna was caught right outside the inlet.
