2012 Boat & Power Preview
Today’s boats and engines as a whole are stronger, lighter and just plain made better than ever before. New technologies in resins and in the manufacturing and engineering processes have combined to give consumers more confidence that the boats and motors they purchase today will give them many years of reliable service. The downturn in the economy swept away some good manufacturers, unfortunately, but overall it was a case of “survival of the fittest” and most quality boat lines survived. I can honestly say that there has never been a better time to buy a new boat. The following feature will give you a good idea of what’s out there for new boats and motors as we go into the 2012 boat show season.
