Wow, what a great day! The crew here at OTW wants to thank you for a tremendous celebration yesterday.

The Striper Cup and StriperFest Event, like the magazine and TV show, is your tournament first and foremost. (Heck, we don’t even get to fish in this thing!) You made this a tremendous event, and we want to thank you for your support. Although there were some great catches to be recognized this year, the day was really about celebrating a great season of being out there on the water, and regardless of whether you caught that trophy bass this year, enjoying the great fishing here in the Northeast is really what it’s all about. We all head out there knowing that one of these days that big fish is going to hit, which is the thing that keeps us all coming back.

It's only year 2, and we were blown away by the attendance...  So were the food vendors and parking lot attendants!  Our apologies on both accounts, and we can assure everyone that we will be working with Harpoon and the City of Boston on those issues for 2008.

Congratulations to the winners and Thank You to the participants in the 2007 Striper Cup. We look forward to seeing you all again next year at StriperFest 2008!
