When February finally ends, we’re right on the cusp of the striper season. The backwaters of New Jersey open, the waters warm and stripers start their slow but steady return trip from Virginia.

Another March highlight is the series of fishing flea markets throughout the region. These are great places to make those final purchases before the main event, the spring striper run gains momentum. The flea markets have become the go-to place to score hard-to-find plugs made by some of the best builders on the East Coast.
