It’s late summer, and everyone is seeking shelter from the heat – including largemouth bass. Although the bass can’t crank up the AC like we do, lily pads provide ample relief from the sun as well as a killer ambush point, and Andy Nabreski and Bob Sampson show us their approaches to taking these summertime bass. Using hefty lures and stiff tackle to pull hooked fish out of the cover, Bob and Andy dial up some explosive topwater strikes for the camera.”
