Kennebec Trout and Salmon

Neal Larsson travels to the Kennebec River to fly-cast for trout and salmon in this world-class fishery. With Maine River guide Mike Jones, Neal uses streamers imitating the primary forage fish of the Kennebec, the rainbow smelt. A slow presentation is essential, and sinking-tip lines help keep the fly in the strike zone longer, allowing Neal to hook up with a number of brightly colored trout and salmon on both streamers and nymphs.
