Trout season is right around the corner (if it hasn’t already begun) for most of the region. Every northeast state other than Massachusetts still observes an official opening day of trout season, although state-specific regulations may open certain waterbodies to trout fishing prior to Opening Day, making it more of a symbolic start to the fishing season than an actual one.

Connecticut – Saturday, April 19th
Rhode Island – Saturday, April 12th

New Hampshire – Saturday, April 26th
